How to Download SoundCloud Songs

To download a SoundCloud song, use the official download button if the artist enabled it; otherwise paste the track link into a SoundCloud downloader and save it as MP3. Here are all three methods.

   On soundcloud.com tap ••• under the track → Download file (only if enabled).

   In the app, like a track and enable offline (subscription, stays in the app).

   Method 3: SoundCloudTools

   Paste the link above → Download MP3 or WAV. Works for any public track.

On soundcloud.com copy the song URL from the address bar, paste it into the box above and click Download MP3. The song saves to your Downloads folder on Windows, Mac or Chromebook.

In the SoundCloud app tap ••• → Share → Copy link, open this page in Safari, paste and tap Download. The song saves to Files → Downloads. To play it in Spotify or Apple Music, follow the SoundCloud to Spotify guide; if a download fails, check the downloader not working fixes.

Copy the link from the SoundCloud app, paste it here in Chrome and tap Download MP3. It saves to your Download folder.

If there's no Download file option, the artist disabled it. Use Method 3 above to save the public stream as MP3 for personal listening.

• Go+: only for listening inside the SoundCloud app.
• SoundCloudTools: a real MP3 file you can keep, on any device.

Open the track on soundcloud.com, click ••• More under the waveform and choose Download file. If you don't see it, the artist hasn't enabled downloads — use Method 3. Official downloads are the artist's original file, often WAV or high-bitrate MP3.

With SoundCloud Go or Go+, like a track or playlist and turn on offline in the app. The music stays inside the SoundCloud app, can't be moved to other players and disappears if your subscription ends.

Copy the link (Share › Copy link), paste it into the box at the top of this page and press Download. Choose MP3 for everything, M4A for SoundCloud's original AAC, or WAV for DJ software. For many tracks at once use the playlist downloader.

Downloading is fine for your own uploads, tracks the artist offers for free download, and Creative Commons music. Re-uploading or selling other people's music isn't. This site needs no account, installs nothing and shows no pop-ups, so there's nothing to infect your device.
